Dakotia! Co-written by myself, Lee Keeler, and Phil Keeling. I have a complete version of the film on DVD somewhere in my office and will at some point in the coming weeks upload a complete version of it. Dakotia was conceived to be my thesis film for graduate school. I wanted to create a pilot for a television series that would be set in the fictional country of Dakotia, which in the show’s lore was located in between the United States and Canada. In the above scene the main character, Leigh Quinn, is visiting the United States embassy which is located within a fast-food restaurant, in order to escape Dakotia.
