The Monster was the first short film that I worked on while at SCAD and honestly it gave me the full experience. An extremely talented crew was shackled by equipment that had been damaged in a shoot with a new crew. Despite all of the issues, we still managed to pull together a damn fine film. The Monster is about the collision of 1970/80s exploitation horror, and 1930s Universal horror.
I was the editor for this film but was also on set to act as an extra grip.
